Logistics Contract Specialist (Expert)

Role Overview

As a Logistics Contract Specialist (Expert), you play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient execution of transportation contracts and logistics operations. Your primary responsibility is to oversee the implementation of contracts with subcontractors while maintaining adherence to contractual terms, timelines, and quality standards.

Responsibilities

Receive and review shipping orders from clients, ensuring completeness of data to initiate transportation booking.
Review Commercial Invoice/Packing List (CIPL), ensuring adherence to Green Light procedures.
Transportation booking preparation.
Coordinate with Subs to determine the mode of transportation, obtaining client approval.
Monitor proper Subs reporting, ensuring timely completion of all new shipping order data.
Ensure timely transport booking and maintain accurate records of names, dates, Points of Delivery (POD), etc.
Follow up on cargo readiness and shipment preparation.
Receive, review, and approve Bills of Lading (BL) with clients.
Verify and obtain client signature on delivery notes.
Review and approve Subs invoices
Verify and approve payment documents.
Review cost reports from Subs.
Follow up on payment reports.
Participate in regular meetings.
Coordinate with Subs, ensuring compliance with subcontract terms.
Generate internal reports.
Fulfil any other obligations necessary for the smooth realization of subcontracts.

Requirements and qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
Proven experience in logistics operations for equipment and components’ supply and/or contract management.
Proven experience in international maritime transport logistical management.
Familiarity with other modes of transportation and foreign trade activities is a plus.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office; English – fluent
